Terms and Conditions

1.0 Introduction

These terms and conditions set out the terms and conditions between you, the customer, and Law Study Kit, governing the use of our website and our downloadable digital documents including the content therein (the “products”). Your use of our website, and purchase, download and use of our products, constitutes your full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2.0 Licence and Access 

Subject to your compliance with the Terms and any applicable payments or fees, Law Study Kit grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to make personal non-commercial use of our website and Law Study Kit content/services. The licence does not permit or include any resale or commercial use of any, Law Study Kit content, service listings, blog posts or collection of any material for the benefit of another competitor.

3.0 Re-sharing Products

You expressly agree NOT to re-share any of Law Study Kit Products. Our Products come with the name of the purchaser built into the downloadable digital documents and has certain security features that can trace the customer. If you are found to be re-sharing the Products, you will be reported to the law society in your region that assess your character fitness to be admitted to the practice of law

4.0 Legal Advice

The information provided on this website is for informational and educational purposes and is not to be construed or relied upon as legal advice.

5.0 Refund Policy

Once a product has been purchased by you, no right of cancellation or refund exists due to the electronic nature of our products. Any refunds shall be at our sole and absolute discretion. You agree that any payments made by you for any of our products are final and may not be charged back. We reserve the right to alter any of our prices from time to time.

6.0 Disclaimer 

The use or reliance on Products or its contents or services shall be at your sole risk. The Products are not to be construed as a substitute for your own studying and reading of course materials. You should purchase the required textbooks set out in the most up to date NCA Syllabus. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are studying off of the correct materials. Law Study Kit takes no responsibility whatsoever for the suitability of the product, and we provide no warranties as to the function or use of the product, whether express, implied or statutory, including without limitation any warranties of fitness for particular purpose.  

7.0 Liability for our Services

Under no circumstances shall Law Study Kit, its employees, agents, officers, shareholders, directors, or affiliates be responsible or liable for any loss or damages (without limiting the generality of the foregoing) of any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages arising from or in connection to the use of or inability to use or access this Site, any of its contents or merchandise thereof, any delivery or services provided by Law Study Kit.

8.0 Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

All matters relating to the use and access of this website or its services shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada.
